It is said that we are at our most real when life crumbles around us. It is amazing the emotions or reactions that come out of us when we are desperate - things that surprise us (often not in a good way). The exposing of who we really are is a key moment because it offers clarity to us, in a way that nothing else can and can be used as a catalyst for change - if we let God use it. As we launch into the book of Job, we get to start unpacking the meaning of suffering, and the role it plays in our lives.
