HOW NORTHLAKE BEGAN

Northlake started with a small group of people in 1980 at Hilltop Elementary in Lynnwood, WA. After some growth, the church built our current building at the northeast corner of North Road and Filbert in 1989. Since then, the neighborhood surrounding us has grown extensively. In the years since our founding, we have made it our priority to heed the call of Jesus to his disciples in Matthew 4:19, where he says, "Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people." Our purpose is to make disciples who make more disciples.
