Carla and I have been married since 1999. We have 2 children, Haley and Jackson. I started working in the Jr. High 2 weeks before Carla and I got married and became the youth pastor in August of 2000.Outside of working at church, I enjoy horseplay with my kids, playing volleyball, skiing with Haley, snowboarding, wakeboarding and softball. I enjoy watching football with Jackson (much to Carla's chagrin), soccer and rugby. I used to race a car in the hornet class at Evergreen Speedway, and now crew as often as I am able for the #81 in Nascar's Elite Series.When I am not doing one of the above, I like watching obscure and independent films with Carla, cooking delicious food, wrestling with, Porter, my dog and working in my yard. Every once in a while you might catch me reading, but I try to not let anyone know that...Our family lived in Thailand through the Winter of 2006, working with Eden House, one of the mission focuses of Northlake. And we continue to lead short term teams there.
